East Coast Security Institute is currently developing an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) Shoot / Don’t-Shoot decision-making program utilizing Meta VR technology. This training is designed to place security professionals into realistic, high-stress scenarios that require rapid threat assessment, judgment, and lawful response — without real-world risk.
Participants will encounter dynamic, scenario-based environments that emphasize decision-making and situational awareness appropriate for private-sector security roles. Scenarios are intentionally designed to challenge perception, reaction time, and restraint — reinforcing that not every threat requires force, and that correct decisions often happen before force is ever considered.
This program is currently under development and will be introduced as a supplemental skills module to enhance existing defensive tactics, de-escalation, and use-of-force training.
🚧 Coming Soon — Details, availability, and enrollment options will be announced once development and validation are complete.
